No. 12/15 UCLA Host Trojans in Conference Rivalry Rematch

LOS ANGELES – UCLA Women's Basketball (13-2, 2-1 Pac-12) is set to take on USC (11-3, 1-2 Pac-12) on Sunday, Jan. 8, in Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom. The game will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network and Pac-12 Los Angeles with Tracy Warren and Tammy Blackburn on the call, and on UCLA Digital Radio with Dave Marcus providing play-by-play. Tip off is set for 2:06 p.m. PST.
The teams last met on Dec. 15 when the Bruins claimed a 59-56 victory over the Trojans inside the Galen Center. Emily Bessoir led the Bruins in scoring with 16 points, and Kiki Rice and Charisma Osborne added 14 points apiece. Osborne claimed a 14-point, 13-rebound double-double in the December win.
BLUE OUT
UCLA women's basketball student-athletes will don blue uniforms on Sunday to face their crosstown rivals, and UCLA kindly asks that all fans wear blue in support of the Bruins. There will be a number of giveaways at Sunday's game; the first 1,000 fans inside Pauley Pavilion will receive a Blue Out T-shirt and light-up bracelets. The first 1,000 students inside Pauley will also receive a slice of pizza. At halftime, two randomly-selected contestants will compete in a skills challenge with an $8,000 prize for the winner.
