No. 16 UCLA Heads to Bay Area to Face Cal Friday

LOS ANGELES – UCLA Women's Basketball (20-6, 9-5 Pac-12) flies up to northern California for a weekend trip to the Bay Area schools this weekend. The long weekend begins Friday at Cal (12-13, 3-11 Pac-12) with tip-off slated for 6 p.m. in Haas Pavilion.

In the last meeting between the teams, the Bruins downed Cal 87-70 in Los Angeles (Jan. 15).

Emily Bessoir had a career-best, game-high 20 points (4-7 3FG) in Sunday's win over the Ducks. Londynn Jones (17 PTS) and Charisma Osborne (13 PTS) rounded out Bruins in double figures; Osborne led UCLA with six assists.

Londynn Jones continues to answer when her number is called this year, giving the Bruins key offensive firepower from the bench. The freshman is averaging 11.1 points per game in conference matchups, and she is leading the conference in FT% (.902, min. 2 FTM/G).
