Megan Faraimo Earns CSC Softball Academic All-America Honors

LOS ANGELES – UCLA softball's Megan Faraimo was named a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic Second Team All-American, the organization announced Tuesday morning.
Faraimo was one of two pitchers to earn Second Team accolades this season. This marks the third straight year a Bruin has been named to a CSC Academic All-America, including Briana Perez's two Second Team selections in 2021 and 2022. Faraimo, who was named the first 2023 Pac-12 Softball Scholar-Athlete of the Year in program history, earned her bachelor's degree in political science and has a 3.69 cumulative grade-point average.
The back-to-back Pac-12 Pitcher of the Year will be competing in the fourth year of the professional softball league Athletes Unlimited this summer. Faraimo also plans to pursue playing opportunities with Team USA as well.
