No. 2 Bruins Continue Homestand Against Oregon Friday

LOS ANGELES โ No. 2/2 UCLA Women's Basketball (12-0, 1-0 Pac-12) is set to host its second-consecutive weekend at home, beginning with the Oregon Ducks (9-5, 0-1 Pac-12) on Friday, Jan. 5. The game will be broadcast to Pac-12 Oregon with Ann Schatz and Tammy Blackburn on the call.

โข Sophomore Londynn Jones led the Bruins with a team-high 21 PTS, matching her season high. The SG knocked down five three-pointers, including two in the fourth quarter to fend off the Trojans.
โข Lauren Betts added 15 PTS and gabbed a team-leading 8 REB. With the result, Betts became the fifth player in the Pac-12 with 200+ PTS (201 PTS) and 100+ REB (109 REB). The center also had a career-high six blocks in the win; she is just the fourth Bruin to ever record 6+ BLK in a game - the single-game high is 7 BLK (Corrine Costa, four times).
โข Kiki Rice (12 PTS) ignited the Bruin offense in the third, scoring 10 PTS in Q3 as UCLA jumped out ahead in the second half. Charisma Osborne (10 PTS) rounded out Bruins in double figures, and the graduate student led all players with 6 AST.
โข Despite 27 PTS for JuJu Watkins, UCLA held the seven-time Pac-12 Freshman of the Week to 7-of-24 (.292 FG%) from the field in the rivalry game (11-12 FT).
โข UCLA set its single-game attendance record with the capacity crowd on Saturday. Official attendance was 13,659 - the previous record was set on Jan. 23, 1999 vs. USC (9,530).
