The Bruins started the meet with a solid 49.325 on vault, thanks in large part to a perfect 9.95 on Chae Campbell's Yurchenko full vault, her sixth career perfect score on the event. The Bruins had four other scores of 9.825 or higher, with Selena Harris contributing a 9.875, Nya Reed a 9.850 and Emily Lee and Paige Anastasi scoring 9.825. The score put UCLA in second place behind Cal, who scored a strong 49.550 on bars.
UCLA took over the lead after the second rotation, thanks to a 49.275 on uneven bars. The Bruins started with 9.8s from Campbell and Katelyn Rosen and a 9.85 from Emma Malabuyo and then overcame a fall to close with a 9.95 from Harris and a 9.875 from Margzetta Frazier. Additionally, Sara Ulias made her first appearance in nearly two years and contributed a 9.775 exhibition performance.A look at the sixth career perfect score on vault by @chae_jada!

The lead was short-lived, however, after a 48.450 on beam in rotation three. Lee led off with a 9.9, but the Bruins had to count a fall and did not have any other score higher than Rosen's 9.825.
In fourth place going into the last rotation, the Bruins made it close by scoring 49.500 on floor, with Brooklyn Moors scoring a career-high 9.95, Campbell and Harris adding 9.925 and Reed scoring 9.9. However, it was not enough to move past the other three teams.
Harris tied for second in the all-around with a 39.550 and tied for first on bars with a 9.950. Campbell tied for first on vault with her 9.950. Emily Lee tied for first on beam with a 9.9.
The Bruins will next compete against Oklahoma, LSU and Utah at the Sprouts Collegiate Classic in West Valley City, Utah next Saturday.
