Women’s Golf Ties for 13th at Stanford Intercollegiate

STANFORD, Calif. – The No. 5-ranked UCLA women's golf team tied for 13th (+33, 885) out of 19 programs at the highly-competitive Stanford Intercollegiate hosted by Stanford Golf Course on Sunday.
No. 1-ranked Stanford and No. 3-ranked USC tied for the tournament championship with scores of -18, 834. Trojans' freshman Jasmine Koo earned medalist honors (-11; 68-69-65) while her teammate Catherine Park finished one stroke behind (-10; 69-71-63).
Senior Tiffany Le was the Bruins' top finisher in a tie for 31st at +3 (73-68-75). She was the only UCLA golfer to post an under-par round on the weekend with a -3, 68 on day two. Le posted five birdies in that second round, including a bogey-free front nine after starting the day on hole 10.
Freshman Francesca Fiorellini cracked the top 50 out of the field of 99, registering a T-49th finish (+8; 73-76-72).
Both seniors Zoe Antoinette Campos and Caroline Canales did not compete for the Bruins over the weekend. The pair of All-Americans were vying for a spot on the LPGA Tour in the 2024 LPGA Q-Series in Venice, Florida. Full scoring from that event can be found linked HERE.
UCLA concludes the fall portion of its 2024-25 schedule at the East Lake Cup at historic East Lake Club in Atlanta, Ga. The prestigious tournament begins in 10 days from Oct. 28-30 and will feature four of the top men's and women's teams from the 2024 NCAA Championships. The event will be televised by Golf Channel.
