Big Ten Women’s Volleyball Announces 2024 and 2025 Opponent Rotation

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference announced Thursday the 18-team women's volleyball scheduling model for UCLA's first two years in the league, which includes a 20-match conference slate. All 17 of the other Big Ten schools will play at UCLA at least once during the 2024 and 2025 seasons. The Bruins will meet crosstown rival USC, Oregon and Washington twice each season and face the remaining 14 Big Ten teams once a year.
In the 2024 campaign, UCLA will host 10 league opponents: Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Michigan State, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, USC, Washington and Wisconsin. UCLA's 10 league road contests in 2024 include matches at Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Nebraska, Northwestern, Oregon, Purdue, Rutgers, USC and Washington.
These sites will flip for the 2025 season.
The traditional Big Ten opponent the Bruins most recently played was Indiana in September of the 2023 season. The Cornhuskers are the opponent the Bruins have played most of the traditional Big Ten teams (17 times). UCLA owns a 53-27 record (.663) versus traditional Big Ten teams and has a series history in women's volleyball with each of the seventeen other Big Ten programs except for Rutgers.
The dates and times for the home and away matches on the 2024 women's volleyball schedule will be announced at a later date.
