LOS ANGELES – Junior Zoe Antoinette Campos and 2024-25 incoming freshman Francesca Fiorellini on the UCLA women's golf team will compete at the fifth edition of the Augusta National Women's Amateur (ANWA) in Augusta, Ga. this week.

The first and second rounds of the ANWA on April 3 and 4 will be broadcast live on Golf Channel (10:30-12:30 p.m. PT) from Champions Retreat Golf Club. A cut will take place after 36 holes, advancing the leading 30 players and ties to the final round at Augusta National Golf Club on Saturday, April 6. Final round coverage will be produced by NBC Sports from 9 a.m.-noon PT).

Campos' group consisting of Hannah Darling (Scotland) and Hinano Muguruma (Japan) tees off for round one at 6:21 a.m. (PT)/9:21 a.m. (ET). Fiorellini's group consisting of Maisie Filler (USA) and Bailey Shoemaker (USA) tees off for round one at 5 a.m. (PT)/8 a.m. (ET).

Campos will be making her third ANWA appearance (2021, 2019). Her last two appearances came when she was a sophomore and senior in high school at California Connections Academy. As a 16-year-old in Spring 2019, Campos tied for fifth (-1, 215) at the inaugural ANWA. Campos shot a 4-under 68 in the first round which put her in a tie for the lead.

The UCLA junior was one of 15 collegians to be named to the ANNIKA Award Spring Watch List last month (second year making the Watch List). Campos arrives at Augusta National after claiming her third win of the Spring 2024 college season at the PING/ASU Invitational (-9; 69-70-68) last week on March 30. Campos also won back-to-back medals at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview (-8; 71-70-70) and The Show (-7; 68-70-71). Her three wins this season are second most in UCLA single-season history. She leads UCLA with a 70.6 scoring average, six top-10 finishes, 16 rounds under par, and is the only Bruin to have all of her stroke play rounds contribute to the team score (22/22). Additionally, Campos is undefeated in match play this season (4-0-0).

Campos enters this week ranked 10th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) and 14th in the Scoreboard individual rankings.

Last summer, Campos made her second major championship event appearance at the 78th U.S. Women's Open at Pebble Beach after winning her qualifying round in her hometown at Valencia Country Club. Campos' first major appearance came as a sophomore during the 2022-23 season when she competed at The Chevron Championship.

Campos was a consensus First Team All-American, All-Pac-12 First Teamer and an ANNIKA Award Top 10 Finalist in 2022-23. Her 71.42 scoring average that year ranks sixth all-time for a single season in UCLA history.

Fiorellini, the top-ranked amateur in Italy, 13th in Europe and 42nd worldwide, makes her ANWA debut this week. Fiorellini's amateur career is headlined by individual victories at the French International Lady Juniors Amateur Championship in 2021, the 92nd Portuguese International Ladies Amateur Championship (-9; 70-69-68-72) and the ANNIKA Invitational Europe (-5; 69-71-74) in 2022. Fiorellini also claimed three major team victories in 2023 at the Junior Ryder Cup, Junior Solheim Cup and Patsy Hankins Trophy.

At the Junior Ryder Cup at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome, Fiorellini came back from 2 DOWN with two holes to play, holing a putt from 25 feet to tie the final match in front of a raucous home crowd. She also won a foursome match and fourball match to help Europe to its first victory over the United States in seven years. At the Junior Solheim Cup at La Zagaleta Golf Club in Benahavís, Spain, Fiorellini won all three matches, including a 5&3 victory in her final singles match.

Fiorellini is the fifth different Bruin to have competed at the ANWA (Campos, Emma Spitz, Alessia Nobilio and Emilie Paltrinieri).
