LA QUINTA, Calif. – The No. 23-ranked UCLA women's golf team lost to rival No. 2 USC, 3.5-1.5, in the fourth annual Battle of LA at Rancho La Quinta Country Club on Friday.
True freshman GaEun Athena Yoo won the Bruins' lone match of the day over USC's Bailey Shoemaker by a score of 5&4. Fellow freshman Kacey Ly contributed half a point in her match versus Catherine Park. The full results can be found below.
UCLA resumes action with another Southern California tournament at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge hosted at Palos Verdes Golf Club from Feb. 1-3.
