Vu had a busy summer with the Red, White and Blue ... helped Team USA to a win at the Curtis Cup, earning four points ... picked up a point, with teammate Mariel Galdiano, in four-ball, while also earning points in another four-ball match, foursomes and singles ... also helped the United States to a win at the Arnold Palmer Cup, recording 3 1/2 points (full points in mixed four-ball, four-ball and singles and a half point in mixed foursomes) ... was a part of the U.S. squad which won the Espirito Santo Trophy for the first time in 20 years, as she shot a total of 2-under 288 ... was solo third at the SCGA Women's Amateur Championship (-6, 213) and tied for third at the Canadian Women's Amateur Championship (-9, 275).

2017-2018
Named the PING WGCA Player of the Year, the Pac-12 Conference Golfer of the Year and a finalist for the Honda Award for women's golf ... also earned WGCA and Golfweek First Team All-American honors and All-Pac-12 First Team accolades ... posted a 70.37 scoring average, the lowest full-season scoring average in UCLA history ... won four times and had 20 under-par rounds, both of which tied single-season school records ... set a school record with 13 rounds in the 60s ... recorded nine Top 10s ... shot a combined 42-under on the season, shooting 17-under in her round ones, 16-under in her round twos and 9-under in her round threes ... was under par in eight of her 10 tournaments, finishing even and 1-over in the other two events ... all four victories came in a row at the Battle at the Beach (-8, 205), the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge (-1, 212), the Bruin Wave Invitational (-1, 215) and the Wildcat Invitational (-14, 202) ... set a new UCLA 54-hole total at the Wildcat Invite, firing three under-par rounds, including an opening-round, 8-under 64, as she became the Bruins' all-time leader in tournament victories (eight) ... was the lone player under par at the Bruin Wave ... shot a final-round, 3-under 68 to share medalist honors at the NGRC ... was under par in all three rounds at the BATB, closing with a 4-under 67, to help earn her first Pac-12 Golfer of the Month award of the season ... also named Pac-12 GOM in February following her wins at the NGRC and the Bruin Wave and in March after her record-setting performance at the Wildcat ... finished second at the Pac-12 Championships (-8, 208) after sharing medalist honors and losing in a playoff to teammate Patty Tavatanakit, posting red figures in all three rounds, including an opening 4-under 68 ... was solo second at the rain-shortened Nanea Pac-12 Preview (-7, 139), opening with a 6-under 67 ... tied for seventh at the NCAA Championship (-1, 287), shooting a 4-under 68 in round two, and tied for 22nd at the NCAA San Francisco Regional (+1, 217) ... tied for fifth at the Silverado Showdown (-3, 213), closing with a 4-under 68, and tied for sixth at the Stanford Intercollegiate (E, 213) ... also played in the LPGA Tour's first major of 2018, the ANA Inspiration, where she was the low amateur (-3, 285).

Was second at the Canadian Women's Amateur Championship (-2, 278) ... reached the semifinals of match play at the U.S. Women's Amateur (was T-23, +2, 146 after stroke play).

2016-2017
Was named a First Team All-American by the WGCA and Golfweek, and was also All-Pac-12 Conference First Team ... played in 10 stroke-play events and 27 rounds, posting a team-best 71.4 scoring average ... was 16-under for the season, including 8-under in her first rounds and 12-under in her second rounds ... 13 of her 27 rounds were under par, including nine in the 60s ... won four straight events, a first in UCLA history ... the four victories also tied for the most in a single season in school history ... had six Top 10s and eight Top 20s ... became the fifth Bruin to claim the Pac-12 Championships, posting a three-round total of 209 (-7) to win by six shots ... recorded a 6-under 66 in the second round and a 1-under 71 in the opening round ... shared medalist honors at the Silverado Showdown (-8, 208), with this win and the Pac-12 title earning her conference Golfer of the Month accolades for April ... shattered the single-round school record with a 9-under 63 during the second round at Silverado, which was also a course record, while closing with a 1-under 71 ... won the Anuenue Spring Break Classic (-12, 204, second-best total in UCLA history), recording red figures in all three rounds (-5/67, -6/66, -1/71) to win by seven shots ... coupled with her win at the Anuenue and a 3-0 match-play record at the Gifford Great 8 Collegiate Match Play, was named Pac-12 Golfer of the Month for March ... earned her first collegiate victory at the Bruin Wave Invitational (E, 219), shooting an opening-round 70 (-3) and finishing as the only player not in black numbers to win by one shot ... was second at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate (-10, 206), starting the tournament with a 6-under 66 and a 5-under 67 ... tied for fifth at the Stanford Intercollegiate (+1, 143) ... was 11th in the single round of stroke play at the East Lake Cup (+2, 74) ... posted an opening-round 68 (-4) at the NCAA Regional, tying for 13th (+1, 217) ... shot a final-round 69 (-4) at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview ... tallied an opening-round 69 (-2) at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge.

SUMMER 2016
Won the SCGA Women's Amateur in August with a score of 6-under 210 ... placed sixth at the Canadian Women's Amateur Championship in July (-3, 277).

2015-2016
Was named Pac-12 Conference Freshman of the Year, First Team WGCA and Golfweek All-American and First Team All-Pac-12 ... played in 11 tournaments and had a scoring average of 71.7, with her score counting in 31 of 32 rounds ... recorded five top 10 finishes and nine in the top 20 ... nine of her last 13 rounds were under par, posting 13 overall rounds under par and seven in the 60's ... was the top scorer for the Bruins at the NCAA Championships, tying for sixth in stroke play and equaling a season best with a closing-round 67 ... was unbeaten in match play (7-0-2), going 3-0-1 at the SDSU March Mayhem at The Farms, 3-0 at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic and 1-0-1 at the NCAA Championships ... finished second at the PING/ASU Invitational (-9, 207) with rounds of 68-67-72 ... tied for third at the Pac-12 Championships (-8, 208) with rounds of 70-69-69 ... tied for fifth at the Bruin Wave Invitational (+1, 217) ... tied for eighth at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview (+1, 220), shooting a 5-under 68 in the final round (Nov. 3) ... tied for 11th at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate (-1, 215) ... tied for 12th at the NCAA Regionals (-1, 215) ... tied for 19th at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate (-1, 215) ... tied for 20th at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge (+8, 221) ... ended the season ranked fifth by Golfweek.

SUMMER 2015
Qualified for the U.S. Women’s Open, earning co-medalist honors (+2, 144) with former Bruin Alison Lee at Goose Creek GC in Mira Loma, Calif. on May 19 … shot 77-74 (+11, 151) at the Open.

AMATEUR GOLF
Won the CIF-WSCGA Championship on Nov. 13, 2014 at Arrowhead Country Club with a 4-under par 68 … tied for eighth in stroke play (-1, 143) at the 2014 U.S. Girls Junior Championship, advancing to the round of 64 … reached the round of 16 in the same event in 2013 after placing second in stroke play (-5, 139) … two-time AJGA All-America … had Top 10 showings in all six of her AJGA starts in 2013, including a victory at the AJGA Junior at Robinson Ranch (-4, 209) … also finished sixth in the Rolex Tournament of Champions (+6, 286).

FOUNTAIN VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL
Vu was a three-year letterwinner at Fountain Valley High School in Fountain Valley, Calif. … was a three-time MVP and Sunset League honoree … coached by Carter Keyser.

PERSONAL
Born Kha-Tu Du Vu in Fountain Valley, Calif. … parents are Kieu Thuy and Douglas Vu … has an older brother, Andre, who played on the UC Riverside golf team … chose to attend UCLA because the program is a perfect fit and the academics are phenomenal … biggest athletic thrill so far has been playing in the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open, which she said was an unforgettable experience, having met and learned from so many successful golfers … favorites include actor Ben Affleck, the television show “Law & Order: SVU”, singer Shawn Mendes and golfer Rory McIlroy … says the No. 1 reason she plays golf is that even though this game can be so frustrating, it is also rewarding in many different ways … majoring in political science.
