    • MET-Rx UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week

    Junior forward McKinley Tennyson, Jr. (Indianapolis, IN/North Central HS) of the UCLA men's soccer team was selected the MET-Rx UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 11-17.

    Tennyson tied a school record held by MLS stars Joe-Max Moore and Billy Thompson by scoring a goal in his fifth consecutive game.

    In the Bruins' 6-1 road victory over UNLV on Friday, Tennyson scored the first two goals of the game, including the game-winner. He scored the first goal at New Mexico Sunday, breaking a scoreless tie in the 48th minute and leading UCLA to a 2-1 win that kept the Bruins undefeated in MPSF play.

    Tennyson, who has recorded a goal or assist in each of the last six games, now leads the Bruins with a career-high nine goals and is tied for the team lead with 21 points.
