Ran one indoor 3000m at the Dr. Sander Invite before the outdoor season came aroundโ€ฆ Captured first place at the USC Dual Meet on April 30, running a 10:17.93 inside Drake Stadiumโ€ฆ Improved on her time to place fifth (10:08.23) at the Pac-12 Championshipsโ€ฆ Broke her own 3000m steeplechase record at the NCAA West Prelims, recording UCLAโ€™s first-ever sub-10-minute finish in the race as she ran a 9:52.68โ€ฆ Earned Second-Team All-America for her 14th-place finish at the NCAA DI Outdoor Track and Field National Championships; Tavella ran a 9:56.93 at the June competition in Austinโ€ฆ Honors: Second Team All-American (3000m Steeplechase).

Finished as UCLAโ€™s first or second runner in each of her four meets this season โ€ฆ Made her season debut at the Dellinger Invite, where she finished 49th overall with a 6k time of 21:04.3 โ€ฆ Finished 36th overall at the Pac-12 Championships as UCLAโ€™s top runner, crossing with a 6k time of 21:51.7 in Salt Lake City โ€ฆ Crossed as the Bruinsโ€™ No. 1 runner at NCAA West Regionals, taking 64th place with a time of 21:09.6.

2021 (Track & Field)
Competed in four track meets for the Bruins this season โ€ฆ Opened the year at the Anteater Distance Twilight, where she finished seventh overall in the 1500m with a time of 4:40.28 โ€ฆ Ran a season-best 5000m time of 16:46.18 at the Stanford Invitational, good for 10th place in the event โ€ฆ Won the 3000m in the teamโ€™s dual meet against USC, crossing with a time of 9:56.94 โ€ฆ Also finished third in the 1500m against the Trojans, clocking a collegiate-best time of 4:31.71.

Was the Bruinsโ€™ top runner in each of her two races this season โ€ฆ Opened the year with a runner-up showing at the Arizona Invitational, clocking a 6k time of 21:51.6 to help the Bruin women earn a team victory โ€ฆ Finished third overall at the Dave Murray Invite, clocking a time of 21:44.9 โ€ฆ The Bruins also won the team title at the Dave Murray Invite.

2020 (Cross Country)
Competed in four meets in her true freshman season with the Bruins โ€ฆ Indoor: Capped her season with a PR in the 5000m at the MPSF Indoor Championships, going 16:55.74 for 18th place โ€ฆ Notched a career-best time of 9:46.91 in the 300m at the Husky Classic โ€ฆ Made her UCLA track debut in the mile at the UW Preview, going 5:02.39 for 23rd place.

2019 (Cross Country)
Competed in five meets her true freshman season ... Finished the season at the NCAA West Region Championships, finishing 80th overall on the 6k course with a time of 21:22.4 ... Took 45th place at the Pac-12 Championships, going 20:58.6 on the 6k course ... Made her UCLA debut at the UCR vs. UCLA Dual Meet, winning the womenโ€™s 4k with a time of 15:05.7.
