Chien posted a 75.0 scoring average across nine rounds at three events his sophomore season … did not compete in the spring … broke 70 for the first time in his collegiate career in the first two rounds of the season at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate with a 67 and 69 … his best finish of the season came at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate where he tied for 38th at -2 (67-69-72) … also competed at the Folds of Honor Collegiate (t-62nd; +19) and Wolf Pack Classic (70th; +16) … 5/9 counting rounds.
