Junior College – Transfer from Orange Coast College where he advanced to the state regionals in 2013 … At Cypress College in 2012, he advanced to the JC State Championship as an individual.
High School – Graduated from Valley Christian HS in Cerritos in 2011, where he earned four varsity letters in football and volleyball … In football, he played cornerback for one season … In volleyball, he was a three-year starting outside hitter, who helped lead the Crusaders to the 2011 CIF Div. III Championship.
Personal – Has been playing golf all his life … Transferred to UCLA for its location, academics and golf program … Lists his biggest athletic thrill to date as “walking on to the team” at UCLA … Has one older brother … Enjoys surfing as a hobby … Born in Long Beach … Economics major.
