Three-year (2009-11) varsity water polo letterwinner at Aptos High School under head coach Jasper Billings...also lettered four times (2009-12) in swimming under coach Jim Triplet...he scored 148 goals for the Mariners in 24 games as a senior in 2011, which was up from his 99 goals during his junior year (also in 24 games)...Aptos finished second in the Tri-County Athletic League's Mountain Division and reached the CCS Division II quarterfinals in 2011...in 2010, he was named second team All-CCS and first team All-SCCAL...on the varsity swim team from his freshman to junior season, he went undefeated in the 50M and 100M freestyle in league meets.
