Three-year (2010-12) varsity water polo letterwinner at Palos Verdes High School under head coach Chris Murin (2010-11) and Patrick OโBrien (2012) โฆ the Sea Kings won the Bay League Championship in 2010 and 2011 and reached the CIF SS D-III semifinals all three years he played (2010-12) โฆ named first team All-Bay League as well as the League MVP as a senior in 2012 โฆ also named first team All-CIF SS D-III in 2012 and second team All-CIF SS D-III in 2011 โฆ served as the team captain in 2012 and was named Daily Breeze Player of the Year โฆ set a PVHS single season record with 135 goals in 2012.

Full name: James Robert Robinson โฆ born Jan. 5, 1995 in Torrance, Calif. โฆ his parents are Edward and Anne Robinson โฆ has two older sisters, Rachael and Suzanne and one older brother, Brian โฆ his entire family has attended UCLA โฆ his father was a four-time letterwinner on the Bruinsโ water polo team (1977-80) while his brother played on the team in 2012 and redshirted at UCLA in 2011 โฆ competed with the Stars and Stripes Bruin Water Polo Club out of Los Angeles, Calif. โฆ says he chose UCLA because โI wanted to play water polo and study at a great institutionโ โฆ lists the shortest player ever to play in the NBA, Muggsy Bogues, as the athlete he most admires โฆ lists playing basketball as a hobby โฆ majoring in political science.
