Competed in seven meets in his final year as a Bruin as one of UCLAโs top javelin throwers โฆ Outdoor: Opened his season at the Willie Williams Classic, where he finished fourth with a throw of 61.69m (202-5) โฆ Finished second at the Jim Bush Legends Invitational with a mark of 63.40m (208-0) โฆ Reached 64.45m (211-5) at the Beach Invitational โฆ PRโed at the Pac-12 Championships, scoring five points for UCLA and finishing in fourth place with a top mark of 68.90m (226-0) โฆ Competed at the NCAA West Regionals, where he finished 15th at 65.99m (216-6).
2018
Competed in six outdoor meets ... Best mark of the year came at the USC Dual Meet, where he had a launch of 61.10m (200-5) and finished third ... Won the javelin at the John Jacobs Invitational with a mark of 59.93m (196-7) ... Broke the 60-meter mark at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational on Apr. 14, finishing fourth with a mark of 60.22m (197-7) ... Picked up his first win of the year at the Jim Bush/Bob Larsen Invitational, finishing with a top throw of 59.13m (194-0) ... Finished 11thย at the Pac-12 Championships, ending up with a best throw of 59.36m (194-9).ย
2017
Qualified for the NCAA West Prelims in the javelin, where he placed 35th with a throw of 193-09 โฆ Was the runner-up at the Oxy Invitational with a mark of 189-06 โฆ Posted a lifetime-best throw of 202-08 at the Pac-12 vs. Big Ten Invite, good for sixth place overall โฆ Opened his season with a victory at the Long Beach Dual, throwing 177-0.
2016
Competed in four meets in the javelin โฆ Placed 3rd overall and posted a career best in the javelin at the Bruin Legends Invitational with a throw of 197-0 to open the season ... Was the runner-up in the dual meet against rival USC with a mark of 191-6 โฆ Finished third in the dual meet against Texas A&M with throw of 193-6 โฆ Was the runner-up at the Rafer/JJK Invitational with a mark of 187-10.
