Graduated as the greatest female javelin thrower in school history … Opened her season with a victory and a toss of 51.29m (168-3) … Notched victories in the Bob Larsen Track Meet (50.11m, 164-5) and Stanford Invitational (51.72m, 169-8) before a second-place finish at the West Coast Classic in Oregon (49.93m, 163-10) … Finished third at the Pac-12 Championships with a lifetime-best, school-record mark of 53.09m (174-2) … Qualified for the NCAA Championships and finished 15th overall with a toss of 52.80m (173-3) … Earned Second-Team USTFCCCA All-America honors.

2019
Competed in eight meets … Led UCLA’s javelin team all season long … Outdoor: Opened her season at the Willie Williams Classic, where she threw 41.39m (135-9) to place seventh … Followed that with three-straight first-place finishes in the javelin at the Aztec Open, Jim Bush Legends Invitational and Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational, improving her mark each time and reaching 47.45m (155-8) in UCLA’s home finale … PR’ed in the javelin at USC with a throw of 51.53m (169-1), the second-best mark in program history … Also competed in her first-collegiate hammer throw, posting a mark of 30.96m (101-7) against UCLA’s crosstown rival to place fifth … Finished 13th at the Pac-12 Championships with a mark of 44.82m (147-0) … Competed in the NCAA West Regionals, placing 22nd in the prelims at 45.87m (150-6) … Honors: Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention.
2018
Qualified for the NCAA West Regionals in the javelin throw ... Best launch of the year came at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational on Apr. 14, when she reached the 48.17m (158-0) mark to finish third ... That throw ranks fourth all-time in the Bruin outdoor all-time top-10 as of Summer 2018 ... Finished top-three in each of her first four appearances ... Picked up her first collegiate win on Mar. 31 at the Jim Bush Invitational, taking first with a throw of 47.24m (155-0) ... Also won the javelin in the USC dual meet, coming in at 47.40m (155-6) ... Was the 23rd-place finisher at the NCAA West Regionals with a top mark of 45.25m (148-5).

Daughter of Luigi Casarotto and Monica Battistella … Has an older brother, Nicola … Decided to attend UCLA because it was her dream school since she was six years old and didn’t hesitate to sign on when she received her offer … Admires Kobe Bryant, Serena Williams, and former Italian racing driver and handcyclist Alex Zanardi … Loves hiking at high altitudes, watching television, and hanging out with friends … Also enjoys going to the sea and shopping … Participated in softball, basketball, and track and field at the same time when she was younger … Is the first of her family to attend American college … Plans to major in Physiological Science with aspirations to work in nutrition or forensic science.
