Sprinted in four meets for the Bruins this season … Made his season debut at the Stanford Invitational, earning victories in the 100m (10.69) and 4x100m relay (40.35) … Picked up a pair of season-best marks at the West Coast Classic, going 10.33 and 20.88 in the 100m and 200m, respectively … Also anchored the Bruins to a 4x1 time of 39.29 at the West Coast Classic, the eighth-fastest time in program history … Scored for the Bruins in the 200m at Pac-12s, finishing fifth overall with a time of 21.16 in the final heat … Competed in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay at NCAA West Prelims … Went on to compete in the 100m at Jamaica’s Olympic Trials.

Had an historic season in his first-career indoor campaign ... Broke the UCLA school record in the 60m dash and recorded top-3 finishes in the event in all four of his meets … Indoor: Finished his season with a second-place finish in the 60m at the MPSF Championships, clocking a UCLA-record time of 6.59 … Became the first Bruin to ever crack the 6.60 barrier in the event … Won the 60m competition at the Dr. Sander Columbia Challenge with a time of 6.72 … Made his UCLA indoor debut at the UW Preview, where he won the 60m with a time of 6.72 … Advanced from the preliminary heats with a then-career-best time of 6.64.

Competed in seven meets as a freshman after switching over from football … Outdoor: Made his UCLA debut at the Jim Bush Legends Invitational, where he competed in the 100m and tallied a time of 10.88 … Improved his time to 10.66 at the next meet, the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational, to place second … Helped UCLA’s 4x100m relay team post a time of 39.84 at the Pac-12 Championships to place fourth … Mustered a career-best time of 10.46 in the 100m at the Pac-12 Championships to place 10th … At the NCAA West Regionals, finished 10th in the 4x100m (39.79) to help the Bruins qualify for nationals … Competed in the 4x100m relay at the NCAA Championships, where the Bruins took 20th with a time of 40.18.
