Toed the line in a pair of meets in his first active season with the program โฆ Made his UCLA debut at the Mammoth Tri-Meet against UCSD and UCR, finishing 32nd overall with a 5k time of 18:57.0 โฆ Finished in 108th place at the Highlander Invitational, posting an 8k time of 25:50.6.

From Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada โฆ Parents are Tyler and Mandy Heisterman โฆ Has an older sister, Mandy, who is a distance runner at the University of Washington โฆ Decided to attend UCLA because, โI could tell the team was a great group of athletes who pushed themselves and each other to become the best they could be every dayโ โฆ Plans to major in Aerospace Engineering โฆ Lists diving at the line in the 800m final at U18 Canada Nationals as his greatest athletic thrill โฆ Enjoys skiing, spikeball, and having fun with friends โฆ Used to be a competitive freestyle skier.
