Competed in three triple jumps and one long jump event in the indoor season… Jumped a team-best mark of 15.31m (50-02.75) at the Don Kirby Invitational in February… Closed out the indoor season jumping 15.22m (49-11.25) at the Ken Shannon Last Chance Invite, taking third in the meet…
Made his outdoor debut at the Rafer Johnson-Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational in the long jump… Went on to compete in three more triple jump events… Finished second at the Jim Click Shootout on April 8, jumping a season-best 15.32m (50-03.25)… Finished sixth in the Conference, jumping 14.86m at the Pac-12 Championships.

When an event happens that brings the crowd into it, it gets my blood boiling.
