Made one appearance during the indoor season in the weight throw … Competed in eight outdoor meets … Began the outdoor season with two third-place finishes in the hammer throw at the Ben Brown Invitational and the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational … Placed third at the Mt. SAC Relays (59.59m, 195-06) … Posted a PR mark of 61.47m (201-08) at the USC Dual Meet to finish second, ranking ninth on UCLA’s Outdoor Top 10 List in the hammer throw … Threw 59.93m (196-07) at the Pac-12 Championships to finish sixth in the Conference … Closed out the season at the NCAA West First Rounds with a 34th place finish in the region … Honors: Selected to the Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll for the indoor track & field season.
2023
Threw in one event for the Bruins during the indoor season… Recorded a mark of 15.36m (50-04.75) at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Invitational… Set a new personal best with that mark in the weight throw... Did not compete for the Bruins during the outdoor track and field season... Honors: Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll (Spring 2023).
2022
Competed in eight outdoor meets as a true freshman... Made a strong debut with the Bruins in the hammer throw at the Ben Brown Invitational (March 11), recording a mark of 59.15m (194-0)... Her first mark with the Bruins cracked UCLA’s all-time top 10 list... Competed at NCAA West Regionals as a freshman... Qualified for the U20 World Championships in the hammer throw... Threw a PR of 59.52m at the USATF U20 Outdoor Championships to earn a silver medal and the worlds qualification... Honors: Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll (Winter 2022).

Born in Dana Point, Calif., to parents Kristen and Stephen Stafford … Has three brothers: Justin, John, and Jake … Brother, Justin Stafford, was an elite hammer thrower for UCLA and ranks third on the all-time program list at 68.57m (225-00) … Decided to attend UCLA because, “UCLA has top level athletics and academics. I’m excited to be challenged in every area and grow to be a better person all around.” … Admires track & field stars Sydney McLaughlin, Valarie Allman, Alex Young, and Deanna Price … Enjoys reading, baking, painting, nutrition, and hiking … Majoring in communications at UCLA.
