Competed in three meets in his debut season with the Bruins โ€ฆ Indoor: Picked up a 12th-place finish in the mile at the MPSF Indoor Championships, clocking a personal-best time of 4:08.35 โ€ฆ Ran 4:09.95 in the mile at the UW Invitational, good for 39th place overall โ€ฆ Made his UCLA debut at the Dr. Sander Columbia Challenge, crossing the line at 4:17.04 for 23rd place.

Competed in Westwood at UCLAโ€™s Jim Bush Legends Invitational, hitting a PR (1:54.99) in the 800m to place fifth โ€ฆ Also competed in the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival, placing fifth in the one-mile run with a PR of 4:05.90 โ€ฆ CCCA SoCal Regional champ in the 1500m (3:56.07) โ€ฆ Also took fifth in the 5000m (15:32.50) at the regional meet.

SAC Community College Championships, earning seventh with a season-best time of 21:40.0 โ€ฆ In his first collegiate track & field season, took second in the 800m with a time of 1:57.98 at the Arnie Robinson Invite โ€ฆ Placed eighth (4:00.00) in the 1500m at the CCCAA Outdoor Championships โ€ฆ Also notched eighth (16:15.61) in the 5000m.
