Mullen played in 19 matches and made 19 starts at setter โฆ was one of two freshmen to start more than one contest (other was Kat Lutz) โฆ split time with Audrey Pak at setter in the first half of the season โฆ totaled 366 assists (6.00 APS), 70 digs (1.15 DPS), 10 service aces and seven kills โฆ had three 40+ assist performances, including a season-high 43 assists in UCLAโs season opener at LSU (Aug. 25) โฆ recorded 41 assists and seven digs in a win over Indiana (Sept. 1) โฆ the next day, put up 41 assists, five digs and two kills in a win at Long Beach State (Sept. 2) โฆ notched the first double-double of her career in a win over Colorado with 29 assists and 12 digs (Sept. 29) โฆ recorded 33 assists and seven digs in a win over Pepperdine (Sept. 7) โฆ put up 31 assists and six digs in her first Pac-12 contests versus USC (Sept. 20).

Born Ashley Paige Mullen in Kansas City, Mo. โฆ parents are Scott and Jill Mullen, both student-athletes at the University of Iowa in the late 1990s โฆ Scott, who played from 1997-2000, was legendary Iowa Football Coach Kirk Ferentzโs first quarterback in 1999 (Career Stats) โฆ Jill was a setter for the Iowa volleyball team from 1996-1999 โฆ has one younger brother, Brady โฆ has one younger sister, Abigail โฆ admires Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes for his swagger aura and competitive mindset, likening his position to the setter position in volleyball โฆ during COVID, kept preoccupied by detailing the interior and exterior of cars โฆ collects shoes โฆ has a passion for 1980s music.
