Nicole Kornet transferred from Oklahoma in the summer of 2015 and sat out the 2015-16 season due to NCAA rules on transfers.
2014-15 (OKLAHOMA):
Played in 31 of 33 games, starting twice โฆ averaged 4.5 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game โฆ shot .398 from the field and .645 from the charity stripe โฆ ranked fifth on the team with 27 3-pointers โฆ recorded season highs of 21 points and seven rebounds versus Kentucky on Nov. 28 at the Paradise Jam Tournament โฆ registered double-figures four times, including two 20-plus point contests.ย HONORS:ย Was a first team Academic All-Big 12 honoree.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Averaged 20.8 points and 7.2 rebounds as a senior at Liberty Christian, which lost in Area Finals against top-seeded San Antonio Incarnate Word, 61-59ย โฆย was named the Team MVP of the 2012 WBCA High School All-America Game after totaling 12 points, three rebounds and three steals for the Navy squadย โฆย scored a game-high 28 points and added eight rebounds to lead Liberty to the 2011 TAPPS Class 5A State Championship as a junior after finishing runner-up in the 4A final as a freshman and sophomoreย โฆย played AAU basketball for Cy-Fair Nike Elite and Liberty 360.

Full name: Nicole Elizabeth Kornetย โฆย born Dec. 7, 1993 in Lexington, Ky. ... her parents are Frank and Tracy Kornet ... father played professional basketball for five years, including two in the NBA after being drafted out of Vanderbilt by the Milwaukee Bucksย โฆย mother is a five-time Emmy Award winning news anchor, host and writer and is aย co-anchor for the Channel 4 News at Nashville's WSMV-TVย โฆย has one older brother, John, and one younger brother, Lukeย โฆ John played basketball atย Ouachita Baptist Universityย and graduated in 2014 while Luke is a 7-foot-1 junior forward at Vanderbiltย โฆย says she chose to attend UCLA because of, "The prestige of the University coupled with its prime location in the great state of California."ย โฆย lists her biggest thrills so far in her athletic career as, "Making good on the opportunity to do things right the second time and become a Bruin. Scoring 21 points (during the 2014-15 season) against 10th-ranked Kentucky was pretty fun, too."ย โฆ majoring in sociology.
