Freshman Katie Lee begins her first season as the Bruins’ team manager. Lee’s sister Erynne is a senior on the Bruins’ roster.

In the summer of 2014, Lee qualified for the U.S. Women’s Amateur Publinks at The Home Course in Dupont, WA and advanced to the Round of 32. She posted scores of 76-71-147 (+3) and tied for 50th in stroke play. In match play, she defeated USC All-American Annie Park 1-up in the Round of 64 before falling in the second round.

A 2014 graduate of Central Kitsap High School, Lee was a four-year team captain and four-time MVP for the Cougars. In 2012, Lee tied for first individually at the 4A State Championship. She finished fourth as a junior and senior at the same event. As a freshman, she won the district championship and placed sixth at the state tournament. When she left CKHS, she was just the second female golfer to record a Top 5 finish at the state individual tournament in each of her four seasons.

At the age of 14, Lee qualified for the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship and the U.S. Girls Championship.
