Arica Nassar joins the collegiate coaching ranks as a volunteer assistant with the UCLA womenโs volleyball team in 2017. She is no stranger to the Pac-12 Conference, having spent four seasons (2011-2014) as a middle blocker at Oregon State.

Finishing her career with 1,033 kills and 540 blocks, Nassar was just the second player in school history to eclipse 1,000 kills and 500 blocks. She is third at Oregon State in blocks, 13th in points (1,380) and 15th in kills. Nassar led the Beavers in blocks per set all four seasons, including over 1.00 bps in each of her last three years, while also ranking in the top four in kps and pps all four campaigns.

Nassar, who never missed a match in her four years in Corvallis, aided the Beavers to their best season in program history in her senior campaign of 2014. Oregon State posted 21 wins, the third-best total in program history, including the Beaversโ first two NCAA postseason victories and a trip to the Regional Semifinals.

Nassar, a 2015 graduate of OSU with a degree in chemistry, was a three-time Academic All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention selection.

Following her days at Oregon State, Nassar played professionally in Finland (WomanVolley, 2015-2016) and Sweden (Engelholm, 2016-2017), helping Engelholm to League and Gran Prix Championships.
