Sammy Ramos joins the UCLA women's volleyball for his first season in 2022 as volunteer assistant coach.
Ramos, who is making his NCAA debut as a collegiate coach, arrives in Westwood with over 12 years of coaching experience at the junior and collegiate club level.
Ramos competed as a four-year starting setter for the University of Texas men's club volleyball team, earning honorable mention All-American plaudits his junior year. As a coach, he led the Texas club women's volleyball team to a National Collegiate Club Volleyball Championship in 2015.
The Alpine, Texas native graduated from the University of Texas in 2014 with a degree in exercise science and biology.
