Men's Golf Squad Tied For Ninth At ASU/Thunderbird Invite

TEMPE, Ariz.
- The 25th-ranked UCLA men's golf team is tied for ninth place after 36 holes in the ASU/Thunderbird Invitational at the Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, AZ.The Bruins trail first place Arizona State by 18 shots after posting a two-round total of 585, nine over par. The Sun Devils, who are nine-under par at 567, lead New Mexico by a shot. Fresno State is third at 569. The Bruins are tied with UNLV.
Arizona State Paul Casey is tied with Sweden's Rikard Sundgren for first place at 138, six-under par. Both players shot a pair of 69s.
UCLA's Jason Semelsberger is tied for 11th at 142, two-under par after posting rounds of 72-70. Freshman Travis Johnson carded rounds of 71-72-143 and is tied for 15th at one-under par. Senior Brandon DiTullio is tied for 53nd at 149 (72-77). Parker McLachlin is tied for 65th at 151 (74-77) and Jeff McGraw is tied for 81st at 154 (76-78).
