Bruins Fifth after Two Rounds at Ihlanfeldt Invitational

The UCLA women's golf team is fifth after the second round at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, hosted by the University of Washington at the Tacoma Country Club.

The Bruins posted a team score of 301 on Tuesday for a 36-hole team total of 604. They trail fourth place California by two shots. USC leads the field at 593, followed by Washington and Pepperdine, which are tied for second at 600.

Individually, junior Gina Umeck and freshman Susie Mathews are tied for 11th place at 149 after posting scores of 73 in the second round. Sophomore Charlotte Mayorkas is tied for 14th place at 150 and teammate Yvonne Choe is tied for 31st at 156. Junior Hana Kim is tied for 48th at 161.

USC's Beckly Lucidi saw her lead dwindle to one stroke after she posted at five-over par 77. She is at four-under par 142, followed by Pepperdine's Katherine Hull, who is second at 143.

Final round action continues Wednesday.
