
No. 2 Bruins Finish Third at Wildcat Invitational

Tucson, Ariz. -The second-ranked UCLA women's golf team finished third in the final day of competition at the Wildcat Invitational hosted by the University of Arizona.
The Bruins headed into Wednesday with a 36-hole total of 582, just three shots behind first-place Vanderbilt and two shots in front of Ohio State. Despite bettering its second round total of 294, the Bruins slipped to third after shooting a 292 on Wednesday, as the Buckeyes finished with a round of 289. Vanderbilt won the tournament with an overall score of 869. The Buckeyes finished with a total of 873, followed by UCLA's 874.
Hannah Jun paced the Bruins with a 76 in the final round, finishing tied for fifth with an overall score of 217. Both Charlotte Mayorkas and Krystal Shearer finished tied for eighth (+6, 219). Susie Mathews (+8, 221) and Bridget Dwyer (+15, 228) rounded out the group, finishing tied for 13th and tied for 28th respectively.
