
UCLA Ties for Third at Wildcat Invitational

The second-ranked UCLA women's golf team tied for third place at the Wildcat Invitational, hosted by the University of Arizona at Arizona National Golf Club in Tucson.
The Bruins posted a final round score of 287 (+3) for a 54-hole total of 859 (+7). Arizona State won the event with a score of 840 (-12), followed by top-ranked Duke at 846 (-6). California tied with UCLA for third place.
Individually, freshman Tiffany Joh tied for third place at 209 (-4) on the strength of her final round 68 (-3). Freshman Jane Park tied for 14th place at 213 (E) after posting a 73 (+2) in the final round. Senior Susie Mathews tied for 25th at 217 (+4) and sophomore Amie Cochran tied for 37th at 220 (+7) after carding a 74 (+3). Freshman Ryann O'Toole, after struggling in the first two rounds, posted a final round 74 (+3) and finished 91st.
Vanderbilt's Jacqui Concolino won the tournament with a nine-under par score of 204, capped by a 66 (-5) in the final round.
