The top-ranked UCLA women's golf team shot 7-under par 281 on Sunday during the opening round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational in Austin, Texas. The Bruins are five shots off the lead, held by Miami (-12, 276).
Erynne Lee, Alison Lee and Bronte Law are each tied for third on the individual leaderboard at 3-under 69, two shots back of co-leaders Dani Darquea (Miami) and Jessica Peng (Mississippi State). Louise Ridderstrom and Ani Gulugian both shot 2-over par 74.
