Bruins in Eighth Place after Two Rounds in Arizona

The Bruins posted a team score of 294 (+6) and were 17 shots behind South Carolina, which was leading the tournament at 568 (-8). The Gamecocks fired a score of 280 (-8) on Saturday to take the lead. Arizona State and Duke were tied for second place at 574 (-2), followed by fourth place Washington at 575 (-1). Arizona was fifth at 576 (E) and Stanford was sixth at 580 (+4). In seventh place was California at 583 (+7).
Three Bruins were tied for 23rd place at two-over par 146: senior Ani Gulugian, junior Erynne Lee and sophomore Louise Ridderstrom. Lee and Ridderstrom posted scores of 71 (-1) in round two; Gulugian had a 78 (+6). Freshman Bronte Law was tied for 30th at 147 (+3) after carding a 74 (+2). Junior Brittany Mai was tied for 74th at 159 (+15) after posting a 79 (+7).
Celine Boutier of Duke was the 36-hole leader at 138 (-6) after posting a 69 (-3) on Saturday.
