
Bronte Law Wins Regional Challenge

UCLA posted the low score of the day – a 3-under par 281 – and tied with Oklahoma State at 883 (+31). Baylor won the title with a 54-hole team score of 863 (+11), followed by USC in second place at 867 (+15). Arizona finished third at 880 (+28).
In winning her third collegiate title and second of the season, Law steadied herself after going 2-over par with her second bogey of the day on her 11th hole. She made a pair of birdies coming in and posted an even par round of 71. She won by two shots (208, -5) over Baylor's Hayley Davis (210, -3). Law also became the third UCLA player to win the individual title in this event, joining teammate Erynne Lee (2013) and alumna Charlotte Mayorkas (2004).
Lee vaulted 43 spots up the leader board in the final round, firing a 5-under par 67, which was the low round of the day. She made five birdies and a bogey and tied for 33rd place at 225 (+12).
Freshman Lydia Choi also posted a sub-par round, making three birdies and a bogey en route to a 1-under par round of 70. She climbed 26 spots up the leader board and tied for 21st at 222 (+9).
Junior Louise Ridderstrom and junior Erin Choi both tied for 66th at 19-over par 232. Choi signed for a score of 2-over par 73 and Ridderstrom carded a score of 75 (+4).
Senior Brittany Mai, playing as an individual, tied for 70th place at 233 (+20), following a final round score of 78 (+7).
