GWANGJU, South Korea - U.S. Women's National Team member Katy Campbell reached the finals in both of her events at the 2015 World University Games, placing sixth in the 800 Freestyle and seventh in the 1500 Free.

Qualifying for the Games' roster by virtue of her victory last August in the 1500 Free at the U.S. National Championships, Campbell swam a 16:37.34 in the preliminaries of that discipline on July 5 to reach the final, where she finished seventh the following evening in a time of 16:41.82.

Campbell's second event came in the 800 Free on July 9, where her 8:43.71 mark was once again good enough to get her in the finals. She improved on that time the following day with an 8:43.49 to place sixth.

As she gets ready to start her senior season at UCLA in the fall, Campbell's summer with Team USA continues next month at the FINA World Championships in Kazan, Russia (Aug. 2-9).
