STANFORD, Calif. -
The fifth-ranked Bruins travel to the Stanford Intercollegiate this weekend, as senior Bronte Law looks to win the tournament for the third year in a row. The 54-hole event, to be played at the Stanford Golf Course's par-71, 6,130-yard layout, will run from Friday through Sunday.

The fivesome heading north for the Bruins, in addition to Law, will be sophomores Lilia Vu and Bethany Wu and freshmen Mariel Galdiano and Clare Legaspi. Tee times and live scoring will be available here.

Joining the Bruins, as well as host and #2 Stanford, in the 17-team field are #3 USC, #6 Georgia, #7 Florida, #17 Northwestern, #18 Oklahoma State, #22 Arizona State, #29 San Jose State, #32 San Diego State, #38 Colorado, #41 California, #46 Pepperdine, Iowa State, San Francisco, UC Davis and Washington (all rankings courtesy of Golfweek as of Oct. 12).

UCLA is coming off a third-place finish at the season-opening ANNIKA Intercollegiate (Sept. 25-27). The Bruins led by two shots after two rounds, but finished four shots back of USC at 20-under (844). UCLA led the field in par 4 scoring (-8) and was tied for first in par 3 scoring (-2).

Vu, who is ranked sixth in the latest Golfweek rankings, notched a second-place finish for the second time in her career (2016 PING/ASU Invitational), shooting a personal-best, 10-under 206. She opened the tournament with her best collegiate round, a 6-under 66, following that up with a second-round 67 and a final-round 73. Vu led the field in par 4 scoring at 6-under.

Wu tied for 14th at 5-under (211) with rounds of 71-67-73, posting a bogey-free second-round. Law tied for 21st (-3, 213) with rounds of 72-68-73, Galdiano tied for 27th (E, 216) with rounds of 70-72-74 and Legaspi tied for 43rd (+5, 221) with rounds of 77-70-74.

UCLA has appeared in every Stanford Intercollegiate (began in 1995, not held in 2010), winning the event three times (1995, 2008, 2011). Last season, Law posted an 8-under 205 (67-70-68) for the second year in a row to win by three shots. Vu tied for 23rd (+5, 218) and Wu tied for 46th (+10, 223). Law's victory was the third in a row for the Bruins after Alison Lee (-7, 206) captured the 2013 Stanford Intercollegiate. As a team, the Bruins finished third (+3, 855) in 2015.
