UCLA is coming off a third-place finish at the season-opening ANNIKA Intercollegiate (Sept. 25-27). The Bruins led by two shots after two rounds, but finished four shots back of USC at 20-under (844). UCLA led the field in par 4 scoring (-8) and was tied for first in par 3 scoring (-2).
Vu, who is ranked sixth in the latest Golfweek rankings, notched a second-place finish for the second time in her career (2016 PING/ASU Invitational), shooting a personal-best, 10-under 206. She opened the tournament with her best collegiate round, a 6-under 66, following that up with a second-round 67 and a final-round 73. Vu led the field in par 4 scoring at 6-under.

Last season, Law posted an 8-under 205 (67-70-68) for the second year in a row to win by three shots. Vu tied for 23rd (+5, 218) and Wu tied for 46th (+10, 223). Law's victory was the third in a row for the Bruins after Alison Lee (-7, 206) captured the 2013 Stanford Intercollegiate. As a team, the Bruins finished third (+3, 855) in 2015.
