NAPA, Calif - Sophomore Lilia Vu won her third-consecutive tournament on Tuesday, sharing first-place honors at the Silverado Showdown at the Silverado Resort and Spa.

Vu shot a 1-under 71 in her final round to finish at 8-under 208, tying with Northwestern's Hannah Kim for medalist accolades. Vu made four birdies on the eighth, ninth, 15th and 18th, with her birdie on the last putting her in a share for the lead, while she also made three bogeys. Vu has claimed each of her last three stroke-play tournaments after winning the Bruin Wave Invitational (Feb. 27-28) and the Anuenue Spring Break Classic (March 27-29). The UCLA single-season record for victories is four by Charlotte Mayorkas (2003-2004), who was also the only other Bruin to win three events in a row.

The Bruins shot a 5-over 293 as a team on Tuesday to finish in second place, nine shots back of Stanford. UCLA was 7-under 857 for the tournament.

Freshman Mariel Galdiano tied for 11th at 2-under (214) after shooting a 1-over 73 in her final round. She made three birdies on #4, #8 and #13, as well as four bogeys. Sophomore Bethany Wu tied for 13th at even par (216). She shot a 3-over 75 on Tuesday, recording birdies on #7 and #18 and five bogeys. Junior Erin Choi tied for 26th (+3, 219) following a 2-over 74 in her final round. She posted two birdies on #12 and #17, two bogeys and a double. Freshman Clare Legaspi tied for 83rd (+23, 239), shooting a 10-over 82. Her lone birdie came on #13 to go with nine bogeys and a double.

The Bruins, who close out the regular season with a win and a pair of second-place finishes in their last three events, head to Tucson, Ariz. and the Sewailo Golf Club in a couple of weeks for the Pac-12 Conference Championships (April 24-26).
