LOS ANGELES - For the second night in a row, the 12th-ranked Bruins blanked #3 Arizona, as junior Madeline Jelenicki drove in four in UCLA's 6-0 victory on Saturday at Easton Stadium.

The Bruins (39-12, 13-7 Pac-12), who run their winning streak to 10, had just three hits in the game, but made them count. In the circle, junior Selina Ta'amiloย (13-0) and redshirt freshman Rachel Garcia combined for the shutout. Ta'amilo struck out one in 4 1/3 innings, giving up three hits. Garcia entered in the fifth and picked up her third save of the season, striking out five in 2 2/3 frames of relief and allowing two hits. She fanned a pair in the sixth and the side in the seventh.

UCLA jumped on Arizona (47-7, 17-6) with three in the first on one swing of the bat. With one out, junior Kylee Perez walked, sophomore Brianna Tautalafua singled to left and both came home on Jelenicki's 12th home run of the season, as she tied for the team lead with an opposite-field shot to right.

The Bruins added three more in the fifth. Sophomore Zoe Shaw walked to open the inning and moved to third when senior Delaney Spaulding reached on an error. After Spaulding stole second, Perez doubled off the top of the wall in right field to plate a pair and make it 5-0. A Tautalafua grounder moved Perez to third and a sacrifice fly to left from Jelenicki extended the lead to 6-0.

The Bruins and the Wildcats finish their three-game series on Sunday at 1 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN2. Seniors Gabrielle Maurice, Paige McDuffee and Delaney Spaulding will be honored prior to Sunday's game in a ceremony starting at 12:40 p.m.
