AUGUSTA, Ga. - The 19th-ranked Bruins are tied for eighth (+3, 579) after two rounds at the 3M Augusta Invitational, shooting a 1-under 287 in round one and a 4-over 292 in round two at the Forest Hills Golf Club on Saturday.

Freshman Eddy Lai is tied for 13th (-1, 143) after 36 holes, recording an even-par 72 and a 1-under 71. In round one, he made three birdies (#11, #16 and #2) and three bogeys. Lai posted three more birdies during his second 18 on the 13th, 18th and third to go with two bogeys.

Junior Jack Ireland is tied for 19th (E, 144), notching a 1-under 71 in his opening round, making six birdies (#9, #14, #18, #1, #2 and #4) and five bogeys. In his second round, he had a 1-over 73 on four birdies (#13, #17, #5 and #6), three bogeys and a double.

Freshman Devon Bling is tied for 31st (+2, 146), tallying a 1-under 71 in the morning. He made four birdies on #11, #12, #17 and #1 and three bogeys. Bling shot a 3-over 75 in round two, notching birdies on #5, #9 and #17 and six bogeys.

Sophomore Hidetoshi Yoshihara is tied for 41st (+3, 147). He posted a 2-over 74 in round one, making a pair of birdies on #17 and #1, two bogeys and a double. In the afternoon, Yoshihara recorded an eagle on the 15th and a birdie on the first in a 1-over 73, adding four bogeys.

Junior Cole Madey is tied for 48th (+4, 148), recording a 1-over 73 in the morning on two birdies (#11 and #4) and three bogeys. He shot a 3-over 75 in the afternoon, posting an eagle on the 17th and a birdie on #13 to go with six bogeys.

On Sunday, the Bruins begin their final round at 8:30 a.m. ET/5:30 a.m. PT off the first tee in the order of Madey, Yoshihara, Bling, Ireland and Lai. Live scoring will be available here.
