Karsta Lowe Earns Silver at FIVB World Cup

JAPAN - Bruin alum Karsta Lowe helped the United States Women's National Team to a silver medal at the FIVB World Cup (Sept. 14-29). Lowe had 85 points on 75 kills, eight blocks and two aces in 19 sets and two starts for Team USA during the 11-match tournament.
Lowe's best performance in the tournament came on Sept. 16 against Argentina when she had 22 points, including 20 kills. She added 18 points off the bench versus both Serbia (Sept. 15) and Japan (Sept. 22) and 17 points (14 kills/three blocks) against Cameroon on Sept. 28.
It was the second medal of the 2019 season for Lowe, who earned gold at the Pan American Cup.
