UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. - The Bruins closed out an incredible trip to Chambers Bay Golf Course on Tuesday, wrapping up a 12-shot victory at the SeattleU Redhawk Invitational. Additionally, junior Hidetoshi Yoshihara recorded his second collegiate win, leading a 1-2 UCLA finish along with sophomore Devon Bling.

The Bruins' three-round score of 37-under 815 tied for the second-lowest, 54-hole tournament score in relation to par in school history. In October 2017, UCLA shot a 37-under score at the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational. The 54-hole team record is 42-under (822) at the 2007 NCAA West Regional. It is the second year in a row that the Bruins have won a team tournament (2018 Southwestern Invitational). UCLA posted a 6-under 278 on Tuesday, defeating Fresno State by a dozen shots.

For Yoshihara, who won The Maxwell in 2017 for his first victory and equaled single-round school records on Monday, he shot an even-par 71 on Tuesday to win by two strokes over Bling and UT Arlington's Tanner Gore. Yoshihara made four birdies (No. 1, 2, 7 and 18) and four bogeys to finish at 13-under 200 for the tournament, two strokes off the 54-hole individual record of 198 (Kevin Chappell and Pontus Widegren).

Bling posted a 4-under 67 on Tuesday to finish at 11-under 202, heading into next week's Masters with a runner-up finish. He made six birdies on No. 1, 9, 10, 13, 14 and 18 and two bogeys.

Freshman Sean Maruyama also placed inside the Top 10, tying for seventh at 7-under 206. He posted a 1-under 70 on Tuesday with five birdies (No. 2, 3, 13, 16 and 1) and four bogeys. Senior Cole Madey tied for 13th (-5, 208), also recording a 1-under 70 in his final round. He made three birdies in a row on holes No. 6-8, and ended his round with another birdie, adding three bogeys.

Senior Patrick Murphy and sophomore Eddy Lai, both playing as individuals, tied for 15th (-4, 209). Lai shot a 3-under 68 on Tuesday, making four birdies (No. 16, 17, 1 and 13) and just one bogey. Murphy tallied a 1-over 72 on four birdies (No. 15, 18, 9 and 12), two bogeys and a triple. Senior Jack Ireland tied for 31st (-1, 212), shooting a 2-over 73 on two birdies (No. 7 and 1) and two doubles. Freshman Bryan Wiyang Teoh, also playing as an individual, tied for 40th (+1, 214), notching a 1-under 70. He made four birdies on No. 16, 18, 7 and 8, a bogey and a double. Freshman Ahmed Ali, playing as an individual, shot an even-par 71 to tie for 97th (+14, 227). He made two birdies (No. 1 and 16) and two bogeys.

The Bruins are back on the course next Monday, April 8, taking part in the two-day, 54-hole Wyoming Cowboy Classic at Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Ariz.
