Garcia Named Sportswoman of the Year Finalist

Honda Cup Award winner Rachel Garcia has been named a finalist for the 2019 Women's Sports Foundation Sportswoman of the Year Award, as announced on Monday.
Fans can help Garcia win the award, as the public and the Women's Sports Foundation's Awards Committee select the award winners by a 50-50 vote. The voting link is here. Two winners will be announced, one from a team sport and one from an individual sport. The winners will be those two athletes who receive the highest combined share of a public vote and the Awards Committee vote.
Along with Garcia, the other nine finalists in the team sport category are Mariska Beijer (Wheelchair Basketball - Netherlands), Kendall Coyne Schofield (Ice Hockey - USA), Diede de Groot (Wheelchair Tennis - Netherlands), Makenzie Fischer (Water Polo - USA/Stanford), Mariama Jamanka and Annika Drazek (Bobsled - Germany), Gabriella Papadakis (Ice Dancing - France), Megan Rapinoe (Soccer - USA), Shi Tingmao and Wang Han (Synchronized Diving - China) and A'ja Wilson (Basketball - USA).
