
Bruins Sweep 1m, 3m, and Platform at Riverside Diving Invite

LOS ANGELES โ The UCLA diving team hosted the Riverside Diving Invite this weekend and wrapped up an extremely successful weekend on Saturday. The Bruins won all three diving events throughout the weekend at the Spieker Aquatic Center.
UCLA had seven student-athletes finish in the top five across the three events over the course of the weekend. ย
On Friday, the Bruins competed in the 1m and 3m events. In the 1m session, Brascia took the top step, while Laura Fisher finished in fourth overall and Maya Shtolzberg took fifth. Brascia took the win with a total score of 274.30, almost 20 points better than the second-place finisher. Fisher then took fourth with a score of 244.80, and Shtolzberg finished fifth, scoring 225.30 points.
On 3m, Brascia took her second win of the weekend, taking the top spot with a score of 317.40, and was the only athlete to score at least 300 points. Fisher earned her first podium spot of the weekend, taking third place with a score of 249.05.
As for Saturday, Brascia and Fisher continued their dominance. The duo took the top two spots in the platform competition, with Fisher earning first place and Brascia finishing right behind her in second.
Fisher took the win with a score of 254.70, while Brascia earned her third top-two finish of the weekend with a score of 244.55.
