Chiles Selected UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week Presented by La Victoria

LOS ANGELES – Senior Jordan Chiles of UCLA Gymnastics has been selected the Student-Athlete of the Week presented by La Victoria for athletic competitions held between March 10-16.
Chiles won the all-around for the ninth consecutive week and 10th time this season, scoring 39.800 to help No. 5 UCLA defeat No. 12 Utah, 197.850-197.400. It was UCLA's ninth consecutive meet victory and its first over Utah in a dual meet since 2019. Additionally, UCLA's team score was its second-highest of the year, and its vault score of 49.475 was a season-high. Chiles scored 9.950 on all four events, good for first-place on beam and floor and second-place on vault and bars. She has 37 victories in 11 meets, including nine on floor and five on beam. She continues to lead the nation with a 39.705 season average in the all-around and is ranked No. 1 on floor for the fifth-straight week. She is also Top 3 in the all-around (No. 2), vault (No. 3) and bars (No. 3). Every routine she has performed this season has scored 9.800 or higher. Twenty-two have scored 9.95 or higher, and 34 of her 44 routines have scored 9.900 or higher.
Chiles secures her 11th-career UCLA student-athlete of the week award.
