Donned the four letters in five outdoor meets in her final season as a Bruin โฆ Opened her senior campaign with a third-place finish in the 1500m at the Anteater Distance Twilight, clocking a time of 4:33.96 โฆ Ducked under 4:30.00 at the Stanford Invitational, crossing in 15th place in the 1500m with a time of 4:29.67 โฆ Clocked a lifetime-best time of 4:27.48 in the 1500m against USC to earn the victory in the dual meet โฆ Capped her season with a double at the Pac-12 Championships, competing in the 1500m (4:46.21) and 5000m (17:07.14).

Toed the line in a pair of races for the Bruins in cross country โฆ Opened her season with a fourth-place finish in the 6k at the Arizona Invitational, crossing as the Bruinsโ second runner at 22:18.9 โฆ Finished 12th overall at the Dave Murray Invite, crossing the line at 22:24.0 for the 6k race.

Raced in five meets for the Bruins in her true junior campaign โฆ Indoor: Capped her season with her fourth mile PR of the year, going 4:52.34 to finish 17th overall at the MPSF Championships โฆ Posted a 3000m PR at the Dr. Sander Columbia Challenge, crossing the line at 9:55.20 for 23rd place overall โฆ Broke 5:00.00 in the mile for the first time in her career at the UW Invitational, going for 4:59.30 for 17th place overall โฆ Opened her season at the UW Indoor Preview, where she clocked a PR in the 800m at 2:13.24.

Raced in five competitions for the Bruins in her junior cross country campaign ... Finished her season at the NCAA West Regional Championships, where she finished in 106th place in the 6k with a time of 21:41.4 ... Opened the year with a third-place finish at the UCR vs. UCLA Dual Meet, going 15:22.1 on the 4k course.ย

Competed in eight meets โฆ Indoor: Opened her season at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational, where she PRโed in the 600m (1:37.54) to place 14th โฆ Completed the one-mile race in 5:02.98, a personal best, at the MPSF Indoor Championships to finish 26th โฆ Outdoor: PRโed in the 1500m (4:36.00) in her outdoor debut at the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival โฆ Competed in the 800m at the Oxy Invitational, placing 22nd thanks to a personal-best time of 2:13.24 โฆ Honors: Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention.

At the Jim Bush Invitational on Mar. 31, posted a time of 5:02.71 in the 1500m, a season-best in that event and her highest finish of the year.ย

Finished 135th at the Bronco Invitational (6k) with a time of 23:09.2 โฆ Raced in the 5k at the TMU Invite and finished 36th overall to contribute to the Bruinsโ Division I meet victory โฆ Made her UCLA debut at the George Kyte Classic (2.6mi) and finished in 36th place with a time of 17:42.6.

Attended San Marcos High School and was a four-year varsity letterwinner in cross country and track and field โฆ Was the 2015 San Diego Cross Country D1 CIF Champion and Avocado East League Runner of the Year โฆ Won three Avocado East League team championships to accompany four individual first-team all-league cross country honors โฆ Graduated holding five San Marcos High School records, including the 400m, 800m, 1600m, 4x400m relay and DMR โฆ Ran mile personal best of 5:04 at Arcadia Invitational and 2:15 800m PR at San Diego CIF Championships.

Born in La Jolla, Calif., to Tim and Jennifer Carter โฆ Has one older brother, Thomas, who attends UC Santa Cruz โฆ Decided to attend UCLA because she wanted to be a part of the UCLA legacy and contribute to a school with a long-lasting history of excellence ... Her greatest athletic thrills come when she has 200m left in a race and knows that itโs not about talent or any amount of work at that point, but simply who wants it more and who has the most heart โฆ Hobbies include taking photos, spending time with family and friends, social media and traveling โฆ Admires Emma Coburn, Kobe Bryant, and Meb Keflezighi.
