Competed in one meet during the outdoor season, her sole appearance at the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival … Honors: Selected to the Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll.
2023 (Cross Country)
Toed the line three times in her junior season, scoring in all three meets … Ran a season-best 20:22.8 at the Texas A&M Arturo Barrios Invitational, making her the second-fastest Bruin on the day … Also scored at the Pac-12 Championships (20:38.5, 43rd) and the NCAA West Regionals (20:58.2) as a top-five finisher …

Placed third at the Dr. Sander Invite, running a 4:50.45 indoor mile at the late-January meet… Ran another indoor mile at the Ken Shannon Last Chance meet… Did not compete for the Bruins during the outdoor track and field season.

Competed in three meets for the Bruins… Scored at the Pac-12 Championships (20:29.8, 48th) and the NCAA West Regional Championships (20:24.1, 58th) as a top-three finisher for UCLA in those races.

Attended St. Michaels University School, running track and field… Was the 2017, 2018 and 2019 400m winner at the British Columbia High School Championships, also setting the 400m record… Won the 200m event at the BC championships in 2017 and 2018… Won the 2018 UW high school invitational 400m event… Placed third with Team Canada at the 2019 NACAC U18 Championships in the 4x400m… Placed first at the 2021 British Columbia U20 XC Championships… Competed for Team BC at the 2021 Canadian U20 XC Championships, placing fifth… Also competed in the 1500m event at the 2022 Canadian National Championships and the 2022 Canada Games.

Born in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada to parents John and Amita… Has one younger brother, Stefan… Enjoys outdoor adventures – cycling, skiing, rock climbing, surfing, and trail running - exploring new places and cultures, reading about contemporary developments in foreign affairs, and cooking and videography as creative outlets… Describes her greatest athletic thrill as “Racing the mixed 4x400m at the NACAC Championships in Queretaro, Mexico, and earning a bronze medal for Team Canada (2019). It was a privilege to represent my country internationally, and an inspiration to connect with talented athletes from across North America”… Lists Melissa Bishop, Lindsey Vonn, Simone Biles, Veronica Ewers as famous athletes she admires… Chose to attend UCLA because “I wanted to explore my capabilities and challenge myself in an academically stimulating and athletically rigorous environment, while learning from (and contributing to) a diverse community of assiduous, passionate individuals”… Majoring in Economics and Political Science with a concentration in International Relations with the career objective to go into international criminal law.
