Ran the 200m, 400m and 4x400m relay during indoors… Captured UCLA’s season-best 400m mark during the indoor season, placing third at the Boston College Eagle Elite (47.27)… Ran the second leg of the third-place 4x400m relay at the same Boston College-hosted meet… That relay jumped to third on UCLA’s all-time indoor top 10 list (3:05.67)… Competed in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100m and 4x400m relays during his outdoor campaign… Claimed first place in the 400m at the Rafer Johnson-Jackie-Joyner Kersee Invitational at historic Drake Stadium (45.99)… Placed 13th in the 400m at the Pac-12 Conference Championships in Colorado… The 4x100m relay that included Misener-Daley (39.70) finished third in the Conference… The Canadian sprinter also placed second in the Pac-12 with the 4x400m relay (3:02.39)… Finished 10th in the NCAA as part of that relay with Ismail Turner, Sam Herenton and Antonie Nortje… Honors: USTFCCCA Second-Team All-American (4x400m)
2023
Ran eight races for the Bruins en route to two indoor school records… Appeared in the 60m, 200m, 400m and 4x400m relay during the indoor campaign… Opened his season at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Invitational in the 60m and 200m events… Ran a season-best 20.68 in the 200m, breaking the UCLA’s indoor record at the Albuquerque meet… At the Dr. Sander Invite the following week, the Canadian sprinter ran his sole 400m race of the season… Running 47.20, he placed second and took the final spot on UCLA’s all-time indoor top 10 list… Misener-Daley ran the third leg of the 4x400m at Dr. Sander… The relay team placed first in the competition… Ran the first leg of the relay at the Don Kirby Invite on Feb. 11… The team placed second in the race, running 3:03.48… Captured the fastest relay mark in indoor school history…
Appeared 23 times for UCLA during the outdoor campaign… Competed in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100m and 4x400m events… Ran 10.46 in his only 100m race of the season (5th – Jim Click Shootout)… UCLA’s to 200m runner, ran a season-best 20.71 mark at the Jim Click Shootout to claim second… Ran another sub-21-second mark at the Mt. SAC Relays on April 15 (20.76, 10th)… Placed fifth in the Conference at the Pac-12 Championships in May, running 45.25 in a season-best performance… Ran 10 relay races for UCLA during the season… The 4x100m relay placed fifth in the Conference, and his 4x400m relay squad was Pac-12 Runner-Up… Represented the Bruins in three events at the NCAA outdoor national championships in June – 400m, 4x100m relay and 4x400m relay… Placed 15th in the nation in the 400m (45.56)… Ran the second leg of the 4x400m relay in the semifinal (2:59.51)… A line-up change put him as third leg in the final… The relay team put together a 2:59.82, which placed third in the nation for an NCAA podium finish… Honors: Indoor All-American Honorable Mention (4x400m), Outdoor First Team All-American (4x400m), Outdoor Second Team All-American (400m), Outdoor Third Team All-American (4x100m).
2022
Competed in three indoor meets and five outdoor meets during his junior campaign... Ran the first leg in the Pac-12 runner-up 4x400m relay. which cracked the all-time top 10 list for UCLA (3:03.53)... The Canadian sprinter set new collegiate bests in both the 200m and 400m events during his third year with the Bruins.
2021
Competed in eight outdoor meets for the Bruins this season … Made his UCLA debut at the Ben Brown Invitational in Fullerton, where he helped the men’s 4x400m squad take the win with a time of 3:14.09 … Ran 47.22 in the 400m at the Jim Bush Legends Invite, good for the event victory … Helped the Bruin men secure a 4x4 title at the Stanford Invitational with a time of 3:10.31 … Won the 200m competition at the Rafer/JJK Invite, clocking a time of 21.43 in the performance … Ran a season-best time of 47.07 in the 400m at the West Coast Classic in Arizona, good for second place overall … Doubled at the Pac-12 Championships, finishing fourth 14th overall in the 400m (47.84) and helping the squad take fifth in the 4x400m relay (3:09.94) … Competed in the 4x1 at NCAA West Prelims, as the squad finished 14th overall with a time of 39.70 … Went on to compete at Canada’s Olympic Trials, where he finished second overall in the 400m.

Competed in the sprints for Westdale Secondary School in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada … Lifetime-best times: 10.4 (100m), 21.0 (200m), and 45.6 (400m) … Broke the Canadian U20 400m record twice in high school … Was an Honor Roll student every year of high school.

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to parents Kevin Dailey and Tricia Misener … Enjoys listening to music … Decided to attend UCLA because it was the “best of both worlds” … Has the nickname, “MMD”.
