Upshaw swam at the Los Angeles Invitational in July, placing 21st in the 400 Individual Medley (5:04.17).
2013-2014
Placed 20th in the 200 Butterfly (2:01.27) at the Pac-12 Championships, also finishing 20th in the 200 Individual Medley (2:02.37) and 21st in the 400 IM (4:22.13) โฆ won the 400 IM against Utah (4:23.45) โฆ set a pair of personal bests at the Texas Invitational in the 200 IM (2:01.82, 17th) and 400 IM (4:18.98, 18th) โฆ was also 19th in the 200 Fly (2:00.91) โฆ named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team and earned Athletic Directorโs Honor Roll all three quarters.
SUMMER 2013
Was 15th in the 400 Individual Medley at the Speedo Grand Challenge in Irvine (5:04.08) ... also swam at the U.S. Open.
2012-2013
Swam in the 200 Individual Medley (2:02.36), 400 IM (4:20.72), 100 (55.70) and 200 Backstroke, 100 Butterfly (54.84) and 400 Free and Medley Relays at the Pac-12 Championships ... swam a 4:21.88 in the 400 IM at the Arena Invitational in Long Beach and had a season-best 2:01.98 in the 200 Back ... named to the Athletic Directorโs Honor Roll all three quarters.

Earned four varsity letters in swimming and one in water polo at Piedmont High School ... team MVP from 2009-2012 ... North Coast Section qualifier from 2009-2010 and finalist from 2010-2012 ... named an All-American from 2010-2012 ... voted a Scholastic All-American in 2011 ... four-time league record holder in 100 Back and 200 IM ... competed for Terrapins Swim Team, coached by Paul Stafford ... qualified for the Olympic Trials in 2012 in the IM.

Born Nov. 11, 1994 in Oakland, Calif. ... daughter of Polly and Bob Upshaw ... has no siblings ... her cousin, Grace Upshaw, competed at the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games and was a 3-time USA Outdoor Track and Field champion (โ03, โ05, โ07) and 2002 USA Indoor Champion ... her cousin, Monte Upshaw, was a high school phenom in the long jump. On May 29, 1954, Monte Upshaw broke Jesse Owensโ national scholastic record in the event (24-11.25, set in 1933) with his jump of 25-4.25 at the California state championships ... communication studies major.
