Sonnhalter played four years of varsity volleyball at Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach, Calif. … was a two-time First Team All-Moore League selection and Team Most Valuable Player … did not play as a senior after suffering a season-ending knee injury at Junior Olympics in the summer of ’19 with Club Mizuno Long Beach … PrepVolleyball Senior Ace … coached by Carlos Briceno … helped Mizuno Long Beach to a fifth-place finish at the GJNC 17 Open, a bronze medal at the Windy City Open Qualifier and a silver medal at the Pacific Northwest Open Qualifier.
